Facebook Killed The Blogosphere Star

I remember when MTV debuted on August 1, 1981. I was in my mid-20's, had a well paying job (close to 100k today), had purchased my first house and Comcast was only about $15 a month. I understand the reason that this video was chosen as their first and it is the ONLY reason that I would ever post it here!

A decade or so ago, blogs were all the rage. Well, maybe not all the rage, but I had one and so did my daughter. Interacting with other bloggers (local and not so local) expanded into a few friendships that I enjoy to this day.

Once facebook came along, most bloggers started expressing themselves there and their posts and blogs began to disappear. I never started this blog for any other reason than to interact with my daughter and my older brother (He was never on the internet, but he would call me and request that I post a song. Most of his requests were old R&B singles from the '60's. He passed away on this day in 2008). R.I.P bro! Maybe I'll post another here shortly...

Bring it back! Link your blog to your fb page. I am trying this. I just thought of Tim. I get this feeling August and he have something in common. Too bad he changed his blog. I treat my blog as a dumping ground for what mode I am in. It is like a message in a bottle in a sea of electric. I exist in this sea...but so do many more!
